The Panzer I Ausf. B was an upgraded version of the German light tank, introduced in 1935. It featured a more powerful 100 hp engine, increasing its top speed to 40 km/h. Like the Ausf. A, it was armed with two 7.92mm MG13 machine guns and had armor up to 13 mm thick. The Ausf. B had a slightly longer hull to accommodate the new engine, weighing around 5.8 tons. It was used in the early stages of World War II for training and light combat roles.
